U16 Boys State Cup Championship
On November 8, the ABGC Annandale United FC won the U16 Boys State Cup Championship, beating the PWSI Courage 93 Red by a score of 3-0. Congratulations to Bo Amato and his team on this victory. Check out our picture at 2009 Soccer U16 Champs.
Fall 2009 Soccer Festival
The free Fall Soccer Festival for ABGC players and friends from age Mitey Mites through 2nd grade will be Saturday, Nov. 21, at Mason District Park Front Turf field. There will be soccer games, skills contests, and give-aways for all. DC United Soccer Team will also be represented. Players should arrive at least 15 minutes before their group's starting time and wear their soccer uniform. This is a rain or shine event. Schedule is as follows:
Mitey Mite Teams: 9-10:15am
Kindergarten Co-ed Teams: 10:15-11:30am
Kindergarten Girls Only Teams: 11:30am-12:30pm
1st Grade Boys Teams: 1-3pm
1st Grade Girls Teams: 3-4pm
2nd Grade Boys Teams: 4-5pm (with lights)
2nd Grade Girls Teams: 5-6pm (with lights)

The ABGC Conquistadores won the 2009 Open 1st Division Co-Ed National Championship, beating the Colorado Sporting Blues 4-1 in the final and the Dallas Roma Team 4-3 in the semi-finals.
